Romee van der Schoot
I am a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on illustration, graphic design and animation. But, I also find myself on side quests in the world of decor and miniature sets.
Additionally I've gained 5+ years of experience as a creative project manager and producer, guiding design and storytelling projects. This gave me the skills to think strategically about the bigger picture of a project or brand and how to produce assets efficiently. I’ve managed agency projects for Spotify, TikTok, and Uber within their sales and advertising teams, and even worked on a Netflix animated feature film as a production coordinator. Just to name-drop a few :-)
Through managing design projects, I've naturally dipped my toes into art direction, which made me want more. I have therefore pivoted back into designing and illustrating myself to grow my skills towards art direction.
